Review of The Man from Earth (2007) by Matt H — 12 Sep 2010
What a great movie. This film felt like a combination of K-Pax and The Big Chill. The movie all takes place in the living room of a house where several college professors from different fields come to say goodbye to a colleague they have known for 10 years.
Not long into the goodbye party the man reveals he is a 14,000 year old caveman. The rest of the movie is a very interesting look at what life for a man who cannot die may be like. I highly recommend this movie to anyone interested in philosophy or thinking outside the box.
