Review of The Man from Earth (2007) by Mansoor Z — 26 Dec 2010
Usually put it at end of a review but i'd like to in the beginning. This movie is not for everyone. For many reasons but two, it challenges few things & it's in its strictest sense, a movie cinematic thinkers. No, am not really claiming to be one but yes, this definitely were best 90 mins spent viewing a spectacular narration since I saw 12 Angry Men. And it doesn't ask you to believe in it but just view without prejudice. If I do believe in what its story was? No one can be sure but if you appreciate cinema its critical sense you would appreciate this. It points out the common goodness in all religions part subtly. I felt like Tony Todd character, in the chinabox and then out of it. Brilliant.
P.S: Do not watch if you don't like to see supposed controversies.
