Review of The Man from Earth (2007) by Dan D — 10 Nov 2011
It's kind of like a modern day sci-fi "12 Angry Men". Just a bunch of people talking in a room, but the premise is fascinating: a faculty of professors are throwing a good-bye party for their friend, who reveals that he is a cave man who is over 10,000 years old.
The concept is so interesting and fun, you can forgive the low production values and second-rate performances. Also the screenplay needed to be tighter, some of the dialogue is redundant and repeated unnecessarily.
This would make for a great remake.
