Having not read a review, or prior expectations ... I just sat down and watched it without any preconception as to what might unfold. I was completely ''hooked'' by the premise. The acting was pretty good, but also not '5 star'. The premise though, and the intellectual conundrum of being unable to actually prove that the protagonist had experienced the life he said, or was as old as he said ... was powerful. Watched it through to the surprise-twist end.
It works. I recommend it heartily.
