Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Copasetic S — 14 Sep 2008
Bogart was perfect in the role of Sam Spade, having enough likability to be the lead character, but also being ruthless enough to be believable (the ending show that).
Although a film I enjoyed and would watch again, Bogart's perfromance being enough to sell the film, it misses out on the top spot for being a little hard to follow in places. Again this might have been a bigger let down had it not be for the dialogue and the wonderful performances from the cast.
