Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Chris M — 01 Jan 2009
I recently read and loved the book, and the dialogue is translated brilliantly onscreen. Bogart is razor-sharp as Sam Spade, an often unlikeable character who wins you over with his wits and charm, and the fact that he's hard as nails.
Great stuff.
