Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Anthony H — 14 Jan 2009
A classic and one of the greatest movies ever made, and especially amongst the greatest of the film-noir genre. I will also make a very "gutsy" opinion and say that this should of won Best Picture in 1941 instead of Citizen Kane, which had great production values but this had the better story and was slightly more entertaining.
Tough call.
