Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Andrew F — 17 Jul 2011
Solid film noir trailblazer that deserves its place among the great titles of the genre. I think its been surpassed a few times in the years and decades since its release, but it's a great story with an iconic performance from Bogart that is, along with the one in Sierra Madre, his best.
Lots of chewy, tasty dialogue and double and triple crosses peppered throughout.
