Considered by many critics as not only the first noir film but also the greatest film noir/detective drama ever made. Very hard to argue against it especially with that perfect cast delivering those great lines.
It's hard to believe but this was actually John Huston's first film as director!!!....And he also wrote the script!!! Undoubtedly, one of the greatest film ever made and arguably Bogart's greatest role.
An absolute classic..... 8).
