Review of The Maltese Falcon (1941) by Fernando D — 26 Feb 2013
The Maltese Falcon is a masterpiece, a tense and entertaining film noir. With Bogart in one of his most memorable roles. His cynical anti-hero Sam Spade is unforgetable. This movie established many now-familar aspects of the genre.
Wonderfully directed by the legendary John Houston, with a great, intriguing and unpredictable plot, The Maltese Falcon is not just an epic film-noir, but an all time classic, definitely among my favorites! A must see, for all movie fans!
