The first time I saw this, I missed the first 15-20 minutes, so I was like the town, wondering if Luke Trimble was the real thing. After I caught the first part later on, I was better off before, knowing kinda ruins the story.
However, this is a very good period piece that does, in fact, strive for a Capra-esque mood, and it almost gets there. Landau is very good and Laurie Holden is adorable. Carey once again shows us his talents as a dramatic actor. Definitely worth a watch.
