Review of The Majestic (2001) by Hugh J — 03 Sep 2008
See, Jim Carrey should always take more serious roles to show that he doesn't overact all the time. The film uses the typical plot, where the hero is mistaken for someone else and can't bring himself or herself to tell the truth, in a different way because the hero has lost his memory.
It also criticizes Hollywood decades ago when it used to put people who seemed threatening and against the "clean" and anti-communism values of Hollywood in a blacklist.
