Review of The Majestic (2001) by Julian G — 12 Feb 2011
A love story, for both the magic of movies and the people acting and surrounding them. A scare, as most people in Hollywood at this time went through the same problems Peter Appleton had gone through. But, not only the underlying theme of the movie, but the thing that saves the characters and practically wowed me, was the take on freedom.
A great movie, with great performances, a great (though predictable) plot line, and a great soundtrack, The Majestic is a movie I enjoyed, while thinking why anyone could trash a movie like this.
