Review of The Majestic (2001) by Ethan H — 07 Mar 2012
In order for this movie to have the full effect that it had on me you have to understand something. This movie shows exactly how sad war (especially World War 2) is by showing a prime example of what it was like after the war.
The town in the movie represents a lot of small towns in America that had its young men go to war only for most of them not to come back alive. This film does an excellent job creating that effect even though the plot and acting are far from perfect.
This movie hit me harder than any war movie I've seen because I understand war and how much of an awful thing it is. I give this a 4/5 simply because it has a good lesson to it.
