Any film involving Christopher Walken, William H. Macy, and Morgran Freeman has to be good. Walken is always funny, and Macy and Freeman (both of whom also served as producers) were both surprisingly funny as well.
Marcia Gay Harden seemed to be trying too hard to be the frumpy beauty salon housewife, but that's a minor nitpick.
