Review of The Maiden Heist (2009) by Lee G — 04 Oct 2010
Throughout this film, I kept waiting for roadblocks to impede our main characters. Raise the stakes, make it interesting. But except for the end, the stakes are never raised, and subsequently, there's no tension and no interesting events to compel us to continue watching.
The characters decide to pull a heist, they make a plan, and pull it off almost perfectly without a hitch. Well there is a hitch near the end, but it's resolved far too easily. The top-notch cast is wasted.
