The Magnificent Seven this is not. This movie, I feel is The Mediocre Seven. I wasn't all that particularly enthused by the pace and the characters, although Chris Pratt is still as good at his form as always. The action scenes can be entertaining, but they also somehow can become redundant.
If you're a Chris Pratt fan, this may be worth seeing. Otherwise, I'd skip it. The basic action is more like a video game than a movie, and if I have to see that, I'll watch replays of Turok and Duke Nukem on Youtube.
