It is always difficult in trying to live up to the original film or the source material, especially when there is often much reverence and melancholy for past times. The new take on The M7 is no perfect film, and probably doesn't surpass the original in many people's eyes; however, it sure is a lot of fun.
Yes, there are questionable plot holes, and yes, there are gunslinging clichés, but that's fine, as the energy, characters and action are so engaging that you can't help but be sweeped-up by these band of misfits.
A welcome refreshment from the MCU and DC world's.
