Review of The Magnificent Seven (2016) by Rutger-Kikkert — 20 Jul 2017
This movie has great acting, decent enough writing and is well-directed by an underrated director named Antoine Fuqua (The Equalizer, Brooklyn's Finest). But the simple and mediocre story of this movie made it sometimes fall flat.
Since the runtime of this movie is over 2 hours and that together with a simple story makes it sometimes drag. But still this movie is entertaining and is well acted and directed. It sure deserves a watch.
Even tough I never felt very connected to the story I still had fun with it.
