The George character is annoying, and Tim Holt seemed determined to deliver the performance as monotone as possible. This movie is a muddled mess with some great scenes, and overall brilliant direction and photography.
But it doesn't come together; and that car crash of an ending (literally and figuratively) is insufferable.
