Review of The Magicians (2006) by Matt D — 07 Nov 2007
Why put Mitchell and Webb in a film together and then hardly give them any screen time together? When they are together hilarity ensues and the film shows flashes of brilliance but ultimately cannot be sustained and looks like a series of interlinked sketches rather than a fully fleshed out film.
However there are good supporting turns from Jessica Stevenson, Peter Capaldi and Steve Edge.
