Review of A Star Is Born (2018) by Matt D — 06 Oct 2018
It's rare for a film to live up to the amazing hype that precedes it but 'A Star is Born' is one of those films and more. Lady Gaga is triumphant in this first major film performance but Bradley Cooper absolutely bowled me over with talents both on and behind the camera.
The film looks beautiful. The songs are instant classics. And everyone is involved is firing on all cylinders. I'm tempted to call it perfect.
If nothing else I'll never forget Cooper cooking a steak for his beloved pup. :(.
