Review of The Magdalene Sisters (2002) by Kaitlin B — 21 Dec 2007
This is one of those rare movies that stirred up a gamat of emotions in myself and my other friends who have seen it. You have to see it to truly understand what I mean by that last sentence. It follows several young "fallen" women who have been imprisoned in the irish catholic magdalene asylums, that were run for centuries.
As typical protocal of the catholic church, they continue to deny these ever exhisted when the last one was shut down in 1996. It's just disgusting.
