Unsettling and weird as i'll get out. Bale's performance was powerful enough to keep me glued to the screen as the movie twisted and churned like a psychopath. However, the score was certainly lacking at points--so much I almost stopped watching--kind of sounding like a seedy horror film from Hitchcock's era without the class.
Whoa.
