Brad Anderson directed a tale of gripping suspense in the modernized style of Hitchcock after Christopher Nolan's "Memento" with a similar mystery of wondering and a derived twist, and Christian Bale done an astonish, boney performance of a sleepless, haunted machinist. (B+).
