Review of The Machine (2013) by W H — 20 Jun 2014
This movie offers a throw back to a time when science fiction was just that- science fiction and not some a movie with a light plot that relies mostly on its action sequences.
It apparently isn't for the brainwashed masses since there is very little action until the end, but for those viewers with a taste for something that will make you think while leaving you on the edge of your chair, then this movie is for you.
It's set in a very weird, techno, and dark time and place in the future. The two protagonists are great while the main villain is a bit vanilla.
To sum up, the movie is brisk with never a dull moment.
P.S. It has also some really creepy yet cool garbled machine talk that you aren't meant to understand but do anyway.
