Review of The Machine (2013) by Sven D — 07 Aug 2014

After a slow first 30 mins, there's half an hour of interesting character development when the machine enters the story. There's a formulaic bad guy and an unnecessary poorly child which bog down the plot - it would have been more interesting to focus on the machines and how they develop, kind of like a pre-blade runner.

It's modest budget shows limitations at times and excels in other moments. A good, if flawed low budget movie.
