"The Lucky One" 10 Scale Rating: 4.5 (Mediocre) ...
The Good: It isn't a bad story and Zach Efron actually puts in a good performance. It gets off to a rough start and doesn't have a good ending, but through the middle of the film you start to feel like this could end up great.
The Bad: Sadly, you're let down. The ending, which was supposed to be powerful, falls flat. The big moment that is supposed to make the movie just sort of ... happens. I didn't feel much either way when it did. The film is just too full of cliches and is woefully predictable.
