Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Lucy Charlotte G — 08 Dec 2011
Not an easy watch due to the subject matter but beautifully shot. I have read criticism about this film in comparison to the novel but I am looking at this as a standalone movie.
I find the idea of her watching her family and the killer from beyond the grave innovative and thought provoking.
One thing I despised with this film is the compupance the killer gets. The problem I have is the way the film says all the bad people get their comeuppance. This is false which ruins the realisn of the story being told.
