An interesting film that could've used an adrenaline shot for some of the film's slower moments. peter jackson presents a film that is not a thriller but is an campaign for spirituality and the bond between father and daughter.
lovely bones features strong performances from saoirse ronan, mark wahlberg, rachel weisz and especially stanley tucci. very emotional and at times fairly moving, the lovely bones is a departure for anyone who love peter jackson's previous directing efforts (the lord of the rings trilogy, king kong).
