Review of The Lovely Bones (2009) by Maridia B — 01 Sep 2012
A rare occasion where the film turns out way better than the book. What drags on for years and years is kept within an easier to deal with time frame as well as trimming back on the boring soap opera subplots.
Superb as usual direction from Jackson and a sincere performance from Saoirse Ronan. Heartbreaking at its finest.
