The Loved Ones have a creepy and macabre aura. That's more than undeniable. But it is also undeniable that once the torture device becomes all that this story offers, then it becomes quite boring because as time runs its course, the only thing I had in mind was - because clearly we weren't going anywhere else - what's next for the poor bastard?
And that ladies and gentlemen, is a tremendous waste.
