Review of The Lost Weekend (1945) by Hossein N — 14 Aug 2009
An awesome and powerful movie on alcoholism, that still feels relevant in the way it shows both the man's struggle with the bottle and his girlfriend's and brother's pain. Marvelous acting by Ray Milland throughout the movie.
The Hollywood happy ending didn't really fit in, though.
