Review of The Lost Weekend (1945) by Augustine H — 07 Feb 2008
The reason I give it such a low rating is mainly because of time difference: it's now more than 60 years after it's filming! Just like Rebel Without a Cause, alcoholism is no longer a grave concern in the 21st century, though Billy Wilder should have shocked the people in 1940s.
Indeed, Ray Milland just keeps irritating me in this movie!
