Jc, unexpected deep dive into alcoholism and despair for a 40's movie. Almost as dark as "Leaving Las Vegas", but I would imagine that the production code of the day prevented them from going there.
Well crafted and acted, but I couldn't say that it interested me all that much unfortunately.
