Review of The Lost Daughter (2021) by Gomesx — 11 Jan 2022
It requires a little patience.
It's slow to start and can test your patience. The story doesn't really move until at least half an hour into the movie. Still, it's slow to increase, but it gets better. Olivia Colman, Jessie Buckley and Dakota Johnson are phenomenal actresses. I have Dickon Hinchliffe's songs, Leda & Mina (title track) recorded in my head. I had to look for the soundtrack to this movie. very captivating.
Either way, this movie won't please everyone. It's about motherhood, lack of maternal instincts, depression and children. But I liked the cinematic style.
