A real disappointment for me. The performances from Hunnam and Pattinson are very good and there is an interesting story to be told here but, this film never gets going.
It feels very much like a TV special and maybe could have benefited from a longer running time to really get to know our intrepid explorers who wanted to leave their mark on the world.
A slow moving drama and not the action adventure I was hoping for.
