Review of The Lost City (2022) by Dubeau — 10 May 2022
Lost city wasn't that bad for a comedy. The story is derivative of many movies of that style. I mean not really original but some good elements in it. The acting is very good. Good actors who knows how to deliver their timing and lines.
Jake Trainer was absolutely hilarious at the beginning. And Radcliff has a villain is fun to watch. The action is surprisingly, realistic in many ways. The jokes are a mix bag at times but many of them lands.
The dramatic elements aren't always setup in a good manner. The music was conventional. I give the movie 72%. I was entertained and it passed the time in a funny way. Go see it for the actors. I think they deserve most of the credits here.
