I actually enjoyed The Lost City way more than I expected to. Sharp humor and genuine chemistry between Tatum and Bullock make this a pretty fun popcorn watch. It should be mentioned that the film could've used some editing, a two hour runtime for this subject matter ran a little longer than it needed to.

Also the CGI was atrocious but that's practically a standard in modern films. All in all, I'd recommend The Lost City for a fun date flick. There's a nice blend of comedy, romance, and even a bit of action that should keep a variety of viewers entertained.

You could do a lot worse in today's film climate.
