Review of The Lost Boys (1987) by Bill N — 21 May 2010
Yeah, like this movie had no gay overtones. I mean, Jesus! For a movie that is suposed to be all about Vampires, it really doesn't follow the truth about them (truth meaning methology). First: vampires can't fly without becoming bats, and cant fly over water (which they are doing in the first 3 seconds).
Second, a vampire can't come into your house, unless he is invited. And if he is invited, he looses all of his weekenesses, but still has his strengths. And, he can come back into your house at any time, and this will work.
But I guess they just forgot that. Third, a vampire can't go out in sunlight, even if he is wearing sun glasses. It's a really stupid, homoerotic, and cheesy film. But, it's really fun to watch.
I love the bad 80s' music, hair, clothes, and effects. It's just really entertaining.
