Review of The Lost Boys (1987) by Sean D — 12 Dec 2015
Fantastic teen vampiric film about a den of vampires that live in Santa Clara. One thing of note in this film is the design of the characters' eyes when they are in vampire form. It is the same as demonic form in other films of the time.
Yellow circle, red outline, small black pupil. It works and is still very much creepy today. The plot was a lot of fun, the score is great, it's just a great film and not your typical vampire film.
This was the long time precursor to Twilight and it's better in every single way possible.
