Rob Zombie usually has something brilliant or inspired in his works that he builds around. Lords of Salem has bits of that but does nothing with it. Instead it borrows too heavily on homages and bizarre flashbacks.
I was hoping the payoff would be there but sadly Lords of Salem limped across the finish line.
