This was awesome! A huge step up for Rob Zombie who uses a bit more restraint than normal. This is a more atmospheric film than his other stuff and is visually stunning. Also the hallucination and past witch scenes call back to great earlier witch/demon movies like Haxan, Night of the Demon, Black Sunday etc.
without losing any originality. Brilliant and creepy original monster designs too.
