Review of The Lords of Salem (2013) by Ken K — 16 Feb 2014
I have loved all of Rob Zombie's films especially :House of 1,000 corpses" and "The Devil's rejects" but the Lords of Salem really left me flat. The ending was almost like an R rated Pee wee's playhouse and there was not one scary moment in the film.
A weak attempt at a "Rosemary's Baby" atmosphere that had me hoping for a big finish. Nothing scary about a group of filthy, out of shape women representing the Coven....This is a giant pass in my book! Ken K.
