Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) by Luke D — 02 Jul 2014
Tolkien fought in WWI. When he set out, he was with a large number of writing friends. When he returned, only one of his friends was alive. Tolkien hated war, but felt it a necessity to the book, and I think Peter Jackson should have done some research and realized that Tolkien would have extemely ashamed that a third of the film was of war.
Besides that, it was a good film.
