Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002) by Leo K — 03 Dec 2017
It was time to rewatch the trilogy, but in extended edition format! The 2 towers is 3 hours, 30 minutes long! I couldn't finish it in one go, but it was great nonetheless!
In fact, watching it in 2 sittings makes you forget most of the movie, to be honest.
This time around though, it didn't feel as grand as the first time watching it. Helms deep felt smaller in a way, and the victory seemed more menial and quickly resolved.
But the story is grand, and intense nonetheless.
I'll make sure to try watching 'Return of the King' in a single sitting coming up.
