Peter Jackson takes what he did with the first installment of the franchise and pushes it as high as it can go. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is grand epic that does absolutely everything right.
It expands a very vast universe from characters to locations and never seems to stumble. While this sequel is considered the best of the trilogy, it's hard not to see why. It doesn't carry the baggage of any exposition or have to tie the knots of a story; it is simply here to take you on one of the most satisfying movie experiences ever put on screen.
