Too long and too boring. the only scene I liked was the orc batles and the Gandalf thing, but over 2 and a half hours wasn't worth it. I usually I have a favorite character but these characters did nothing for me.
even with orlando bloom in it. and Elijah Wood wasn't even that good. at least I get all the references now.
