Review of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring (2001) by Siddharth M — 15 Nov 2013
The first film of one of the greatest film-projects ever undertaken. This film manages to bring J.R.R. Tolkien's classic mythical Middle-earth in every way possible. Closest to the books, this has been masterfully edited and has pitch-perfect cast.
And even though the film shall run for many decades or centuries as a classic, the center-piece of all this remains Howard Shore's subtle yet timeless music.
