An excellent opening to a series that gripped everyone that became one of the more successful trilogies of all time. You are introduced to likeable characters and a mysterious story. There is a ring and a journey to destroy it.
Along the way we become part of this journey. The effects are grear, the story is big and powerful, the dialogue is complex but easy to understand, and elajiah wood is simply fantastic. Viggo Mortensen is excellent here too.
..I loved his role in the movie. A good way to start the trilogy.
